Enable Ambient Mode (Screen Saver) on Chrome OS
1. First of all, you have to move on Beta channel
Open the settings page, After that About Chrome OS -> Additional Details -> Change Channel -> Beta. Now. You will Back to “About Chrome OS” page and Update your os. By the way, I am running Chrome OS Beta Build 85.0.4183.59.
2. after this, open
chrome://flags and turn on “Enable Ambient Mode“. You can alternatively copy and paste
chrome://flags/#enable-ambient-mode and enable it right away.
3.Now , Restart your Chromebook and then open Chrome Setting again . After this, go to “Personalization” and Open up “Ambient Mode”.
4. Enable the toggle given here and choose “Art Gallery” or “Google Photos” according to your preference. Art Gallery has curated images of arts, culture, Earth, space, and more.
5. Here you can select the album containing Google Photos. .
6. Now lock your Chromebook, here you will see Screen Sever. You can lock your Chromebook by manually pressing Search + L.
